First International IOTA Franchise Launches on Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast is now home to the first international franchise of IOTA. This auspicious occasion was marked by the official opening on Thursday 21 August. Award winning celebrity landscaper, Dean Herald conducted the official opening and some of the Coast’s top landscapers, designers and architects were in attendance.

Dean Herald is the winner of numerous landscaping awards including a gold medal at the Chelsea Garden Show. He has also appeared on television shows such as The Block, Reno Rumble, Garden Guru's, Better Homes & Gardens and Australia's Best Backyards. Dean was impressed with the IOTA range of products and said “The IOTA products have inspired me to incorporate planters in my own designs as they perfectly reflect the resort living style which is my signature and the quality is far superior to what has been available to date.”

“The planters are also ideal for commercial applications and apartments due to their sleek look and robust construction and they would be great for existing building structures with concrete and tiles where putting in a garden bed would be destructive and costly to the existing landscape. The planters are suited to the Australian environment and are great for both small and large spaces. For smaller spaces you get the feel of planted areas where there is not room for garden beds eg close to the house. And they are also great for defining smaller areas within larger gardens, furnishing outdoor space and adding desire and purpose to spaces.
